I. Airflow Separation Parameter Optimization
Fan Speed: Controlled at 2-5 m/s. Adjust the duct angle and nozzle diameter accordingly to ensure stable airflow speed, allowing for clean separation of copper particles and plastic.
Airflow Adjustment: Too much airflow can blow away small copper particles, while too little won't remove the wire insulation. Generally, adjust until the insulation floats and falls in a straight line.
II. Vibrating Screen Parameter Optimization
Amplitude and Frequency: By optimizing these parameters, the impurity residue rate can be reduced from 30% to below 1%, naturally increasing the separation rate.
Screen Matching: A 200-mesh screen is recommended, made of 304 stainless steel, such as Shengfan screens, which effectively control the separation accuracy of copper particles and plastic.
III. Feed Control Optimization
Feed Speed: Maintain uniform feeding to avoid clogging of the pulverizer, which would affect sorting efficiency.
Wire Classification: Wires with significantly different diameters should be processed separately. For example, thick automotive wires and thin communication wires should not be mixed together, otherwise it will affect sorting efficiency and purity.
IV. Technology Upgrades
High-Voltage Electrostatic Separation: As a supplementary secondary sorting method, this method utilizes the properties of copper and wire sheathing to separate residual copper wires from the wire sheathing in dry cable granulator machines, greatly improving the sorting effect.
Intelligent Control Module: Some new equipment is currently applying for related patents, and future intelligent control may further improve the sorting rate.
V. Maintenance and Management
Regular Cleaning: Clean the die head and cutter promptly, and regularly lubricate bearings and guide rails to reduce wear.
Supply Vulnerable Parts: Prepare frequently damaged parts such as cutters and sealing rings in advance; do not wait until they break down before stopping the machine.
