What If A Cable Granulator Machine's Sorting Rate Doesn't Reach 99%?
Dec 29, 2025
I. First, check if the equipment meets the standards.
Choose the right model: Prioritize models with a sorting rate ≥99%, such as the Dingju Heavy Industry 1000 model, Haozhe cable granulator machine, or Kaidi 600 model. These have all been market-proven and have good stability.
Match the screen: A 200-mesh screen is recommended, made of 304 stainless steel, such as Shengfan screens, which effectively control the separation accuracy of copper particles and plastics.
II. Focus on adjusting process parameters.
Airflow separation: Adjust the fan speed to 2-5 m/s, and adjust the air duct angle and nozzle diameter accordingly to ensure stable airflow speed, allowing for clean separation of copper particles and plastics.
Vibrating screen optimization: By optimizing parameters, reduce the impurity residue rate from 30% to below 1%, naturally increasing the sorting rate.
III. Operational Details
Uniform Feeding: Avoid dumping everything in at once. Maintain a reasonable feeding speed to prevent clogging of the pulverizer.
Wire Sorting: Process wires with significantly different diameters separately. For example, don't mix thick automotive wires with thin communication wires, as this will affect sorting efficiency and purity.
IV. Essential Maintenance
Regular Cleaning: Clean the die head and cutter regularly. Lubricate bearings and guide rails periodically to reduce wear.
Supply Vulnerable Parts: Prepare frequently damaged parts such as cutters and sealing rings in advance. Don't wait until they break down to stop the machine.
V. Considering Technological Upgrades
High-Voltage Electrostatic Separation: As a supplementary secondary sorting method, this can further separate residual copper wires from the wire sheaths in dry cable granulator machines, greatly improving sorting efficiency.
Intelligent Control Module: Some new equipment is currently applying for related patents. In the future, intelligent control may further improve the sorting rate.
