Copper Rice Conveyor Belt Replacement Cycle
Oct 15, 2025
I. Regular Replacement Cycle
Time Standard: Inspection is recommended every 1-2 years. Extreme operating conditions (such as high temperatures and high dust levels) require a reduction to 6-12 months.
Mileage/Operation Time: Industrial equipment is typically calculated based on operating time. For continuously operating copper rice convection machine belts, it is recommended that belts be replaced every 2,000-3,000 hours, or after a cumulative operating time of 60,000-80,000 kilometers.
II. Key Judgment Indicators
Wear Inspection: Immediate replacement is required if there are ≥3 surface cracks, edge wear exceeding 1/3 of the belt thickness, or delamination.
Tensioning: Belts that are too loose are prone to slippage, while belts that are too tight accelerate wear. Regular adjustment of the tensioner is required.
Abnormal Noise Indicator: A sharp grinding sound or abnormal vibration during operation requires a machine stop and inspection.
III. Maintenance Recommendations
Regular Cleaning: Avoid oil and dust accumulation. Clean the belt and surrounding area every 500 hours.
Related Component Inspection: Simultaneously inspect the tensioner and idler bearings. Failures require replacement. Installation Specifications: When replacing the belt, ensure the belt is properly sized and wound correctly to avoid breakage caused by improper installation.
IV. Adjustments for Special Operating Conditions
Heavy Load/High-Frequency Use: If the copper wire mill is processing high-hardness materials for extended periods, it is recommended to replace the belt after 1000-1500 hours.
Harsh Environments: In humid or dusty environments, enhanced sealing and protection are required, and the belt should be inspected 30% in advance.
