How To Properly Install Cable Granulator Machine Blades?

Jan 09, 2026

I. Pre-Installation Preparation

Safety First: Disconnect the power supply and hang a "Do Not Power On" sign to avoid accidental operation.

Wear non-slip gloves and safety goggles, and prepare tools such as an Allen wrench and torque wrench.

II. Installation Steps

Install Fixed Blade: With the blade edge facing upwards, place the fixed blade on the blade holder, ensuring it is firmly against the inner housing plate, and tighten the nut.

Install Moving Blade: Using the fixed blade edge as a reference, ensure each moving blade edge just touches the fixed blade edge without making a knocking sound, then tighten the nut.

Install External Fixed Blade: With the blade edge facing downwards, tighten the nut.

Adjust Gap: The closer the moving blade edge is to the bottom screen, the better, but it should not scrape against the bottom screen.

III. Precautions

Safety First: Always stop the machine and disconnect the power during installation, and use specialized tools.

Blade Angle: The moving blade edge angle is 45°. Do not change the angle when sharpening the blades. Regular calibration: Check tool concentricity every 200 hours to ensure smooth operation.
