1. Routine Tension Adjustment
If only belt tension needs to be adjusted (e.g., using a tensioner or bolt), a skilled operator can typically complete the adjustment within 30 minutes to an hour. Standard tension can be determined by a press test: if the belt length on one side is ≤50cm, a 1-1.5cm depression in the middle is ideal; if it is >50cm, a 1.5-2cm decrease is recommended.
2. Complex Position Alignment
If synchronous pulley alignment adjustments or replacement of worn parts (such as tensioners or guide pulleys) are required, the process may take 1.5-3 hours. For example, when replacing precision components such as timing belts, the timing points must be repeatedly calibrated and operational stability tested, requiring high precision.
Notes:
After adjustment, perform a no-load test run to observe whether the belt deviates or makes unusual noises.
