How Long After A Cable Granulator Machine Has Exceeded Its Operating Time Limit Should Maintenance Be Performed?
Oct 01, 2025
1. Emergency Maintenance (within 0-2 hours after the time limit)
Shutdown Inspection
Immediately disconnect the power supply and check the motor winding insulation resistance (should be ≥1MΩ) and bearing temperature (>80°C requires replacement).
2. Tool and Screen Processing
Disassemble the tool and inspect for wear (>2mm per side requires replacement). Clean the screen for blockage (>30% aperture blockage requires replacement).
2. Short-Term Maintenance (within 24 hours after the time limit)
Lubrication System Restoration
Replace the bearing grease (NLGI Grade 2 lithium-based grease), filling it to 2/3 of the bearing cavity volume.
3. Electrical System Inspection
Check the inverter parameters (the vibration frequency should be adjusted according to the wire diameter) and the oxidation condition of the terminal blocks.
4. Long-Term Maintenance (within 72 hours after the time limit)
No-load Test Run
After startup, monitor the current fluctuation (within ±5% of the rated value) and the bearing temperature rise (≤40°C). Load Test
Gradually increase the feed rate to the rated load to verify sorting efficiency (copper rice purity ≥ 98%).
