How Should I Maintain A Cable Granulator Machine After It Has Been Running For An Extended Period?
Sep 29, 2025
I. Emergency Shutdown Inspection
1. Electrical System Inspection
Immediately disconnect the power supply. Use a megohmmeter to check the motor winding insulation resistance (should be ≥1MΩ). Check the contactor contacts for burnout (if the contact area is less than 80%, replace).
2. Mechanical Component Diagnosis
Manually crank the machine to check the bearing rotational resistance (normally, it should be less than 5N·m). Measure the vibration value (>4.5mm/s, replace the bearing). II. Key Component Maintenance
1. Tool and Screen Maintenance
Disassemble the tool and inspect for wear (single-side wear >2mm requires replacement). SKD-11 alloy tools should be reground to an edge sharpness of Ra ≤ 0.8μm.
Clean the screen for blockage (pore blockage >30% requires replacement). Check screen tension (sag should be <3mm).
2. Lubrication System Restoration
Replace the bearing grease (use NLGI Grade 2 lithium-based grease), replenishing it to 2/3 of the bearing cavity volume. Lubricate the spindle bearings in particular (every 200 hours).
III. System Function Verification
1. No-load Test Run
After startup, observe current fluctuations (should be within ±5% of the rated value). Run for 30 minutes and measure bearing temperature rise (≤40°C is normal).
2. Load Test
Gradually increase the feed rate to the rated load and monitor sorting efficiency (copper rice purity should be ≥98%). If abnormalities occur, adjust the damper speed (recommended range: 8-12 m/s).
