1. Avoid interference: Avoid installing the sensor in areas where vibration, electromagnetic interference, corrosive liquids, etc. may have a significant impact on the accuracy of the sensor.
2. Environmental adaptability: Ensure that the specifications and technical characteristics of the sensor are consistent with the requirements of the installation environment, and pay special attention to whether the sensor's operating temperature range, protection level (such as IP level), corrosion resistance and other indicators meet the requirements of the actual application scenario.
3. Insulation treatment: Use suitable sealing materials (such as sealants and sealing pads) to ensure the waterproof and dustproof performance of the sensor. Avoid water, dust and debris (such as welding slag, etc.) from depositing in the sensor conduit, affecting the measurement accuracy.
4. Temperature influence: According to the specifications and requirements of the sensor, avoid areas with extreme or severe temperature fluctuations. For sensors that need to measure high-temperature media, appropriate heat dissipation measures should be taken to ensure that the sensor temperature does not exceed its limit value.
5. Electromagnetic interference: Avoid electromagnetic interference on the sensor, such as placing it near a strong magnetic field, near high-voltage equipment, or in contact with other electromagnetic radiation sources. Ensure that the sensor's cable line is separated from high-current lines or other electromagnetic noise sources.
6. Installation angle: The temperature sensor should be installed as vertically as possible to prevent deformation under high temperature. However, if there is flow rate, it must be installed in an inclined direction opposite to the flow rate (generally inclined at 45°). Generally, the pipe bend is selected, and the effective working part of the temperature sensor should be located in the middle of the fluid. If horizontal installation is required, a support frame should be installed if necessary.
7. Junction box protection: For inclined and horizontally installed temperature sensors, the outlet holes of the junction box should be downward to prevent water vapor and dirt from falling into the junction box.
8. Sealing: For temperature sensors that are subjected to pressure, the sealing performance of the sealing surface must be strictly guaranteed.
