I. Purity and Sorting Efficiency
1. Metal Purity
Dry-type cable granulators use multi-layer vibrating screens and variable frequency air separation to achieve copper purity of 97%-99%.
Wet-type cable granulators achieve even higher copper purity (over 99%) due to water-washing and gravity separation, but require subsequent drying.
Electromagnetic adsorption technology can further remove iron impurities, raising copper purity to 99.5%.

37kW Dry Cable Granulator The machine consumes approximately 40-50 kWh of electricity to process one ton of automotive wire (50-58% copper). High-capacity models (such as the QD-800SA) process 1500 kg/h, but consume up to 109 kW.
2. Material Compatibility
Automotive wire: Copper recovery rate over 98%, plastic residue <1%. Miscellaneous wire (15-30% copper): Requires secondary sorting, copper loss rate approximately 2%-5%.
