What Is The Difference Between Plastic Crusher And Plastic Shredder?
Feb 09, 2024
Plastic crushers and plastic shredders are different in structure, use, discharge particle size, rotation speed and tool type.
Structure: The structure of the plastic crusher is relatively simple, and the cutter and slot are usually integrated. The structure of the plastic shredder is relatively complex, and the cutter and knife slot are usually designed separately.
Usage: Plastic crusher is widely used, not only for plastic crushing, but also for crushing wood, metal, waste paper, rubber, tires and other garbage. Plastic shredders are usually only used for shredding waste plastics.
Discharge granularity: The plastic crusher can break the material into small pieces below 20mm, while the plastic shredder can only tear the material into irregular large pieces of 20mm-200mm.
Speed: The speed of the plastic crusher is faster than other crushers. The rotation speed of the plastic shredder is slower than other crushers.
Knife type: Plastic crushers usually use high-inertia impact and sharp-edged rotating movable knives and fixed knives fixed on both sides of the rotating shaft to cut the material into pieces by shearing each other. The cutter shaft structure and four-corner rotary cutter of the plastic shredder will not cause the shaft to wrap around or jam the equipment during the low-speed and high-torque production process, thereby improving production efficiency.
