How Often Should A Dry Cable Granulator Machine Be Maintained?
Nov 12, 2025
1. Daily Maintenance (Daily/Per Shift)
Residual Material Cleaning: After work, clean the surface and interior of the equipment of copper rice debris and dust. In particular, check the crusher screen and the separator screen bottom for blockage.
Tightening Check: Daily check the tightness of bolts on easily loose parts, such as the crusher blades and vibrating screen springs.
2. Regular Maintenance
Lubrication and Maintenance
Bearings/Transmission Components: Lubricate with high-temperature-resistant lithium-based grease monthly to reduce wear and noise.
Chains/Gears: Check lubrication weekly and adjust lubrication intervals based on wear.
Key Component Inspection
Blade Wear: Quarterly inspect blade edges for passivation, polish, or replace if necessary.
Screen Condition: Simultaneously inspect the screen for damage to ensure that the copper-plastic separation particle size meets the standard.
3. Long-Term Maintenance (Semi-Annual/Annual)
System Calibration: Annually inspect the separator's airflow parameters and electrical system safety, and calibrate sensors if necessary. Replacement of Wear Parts: Depending on the intensity of use, replace seals, bearings, and other components every 6-12 months.
IV. Adjustments for Special Scenarios
High-Frequency Use: During continuous operation, the lubrication cycle is shortened to 2 weeks, and blade inspection frequency is increased to monthly.
Corrosive Materials: Immediately clean the equipment after handling waste wire containing a high concentration of impurities to prevent residual corrosion.
